ok, it doesn't seem to be endless, it just takes a loooong time (more than 5 minutes)

Exactly which title (which widget) do you mean? And in exactly which dialog? The pattern selector (the dialog where you can see only a QListView with patterns, the description of the current pattern and the disk usage) or the full package selector with the "Patterns" filter view (the dialog you get into when you click on "Details" in the pattern selector)?

not relevant enough.. seems okay on non-qemu instances
