Description Dominique Leuenberger 2006-12-08 11:48:37 UTC
Used DE: Gnome

When doubleclicking an RPM, it is fed to ZenInstaller.

In case the directory name or filename contains a space, the installation failes with the comment
"Transaction failed: invalid path name component '/VMWare Tools/VMwareTools-5.5.2-29772.i386.rpm'

Ass you see, I tried to install VMware Tools, which get's virtually mounted on a CD called 'VMware Tools'.

(copying the RPM from the CD to the desktop and installing it from there (again using ZenInstaller) works, but can not be considered a solution, but only a workaround).

There was just a similiar bug regarding libzypp being closed. May they be related?
Bug #233967 (just as an idea)

Zenworks is no more part opensuse....

Verified with SLE10 SP1. It works fine.
So marking this as resolved.
