I was doing kind of nothing (reading some webpage in FireFox) and suddenly
a window with  "Software Updater - Error" popped up.

By the way, I saw similar report in a recent OpenSUSE 10.2 review.

I'll try to upload the screenshot.

Updates are slow at times, particularly during installation, and it seems to me that the repositories are not as reliable as they should be.
