The xorg.conf created by SaX in bug 229427 causes X to crash.  The problem is that the touchpad input device is added as CoreKeyboard.

yes this is a known bug in the synaptics driver, it couldn't be a core
device. Matthias are working on a fix for synaptics. Once the bug 229427
is fixed this problem will disappear because sax shouldn't include the
touchpad as core keyboard :-)
