Case:
Go in to Yast2 and verify that "sync changes with ZENworks" is hooked.
add a source with "zypper sa ..."
Go in to Yast2 check sources and see they are all there.
Make sure that the "sync changes with ZENworks" is still hooked and hit Finish

The sources are not synced as a print from "rug sl" will show. The zypper added sources are still not synced.

The sources are synchronized only when a change has been made in the yast module, that should be improved.

Zenworks management has been removed from openSUSE 10.3, the synchronization option has been removed.
