Description David Car 2007-01-02 01:52:24 UTC
There's a bug in the Server name field for the print dialog when using CUPS and being in client mode (atleast that's my setup). The size of the name field is huge, causing the window to be about 2800 or so pixels wide without the ability to resize it. This bug is known at KDE:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139044

and it appears to be on the openSuSE end. I searched for it, but couldn't find it posted here, so I thought I would post it. Sorry if I missed it posted.

A temporary workaround is to go to Desktop Settings->Desktop->Window Specific Settings->New. Select the Window Extra tab and add [Pp]rint to the Window Title bar and select Regular expression from the drop down menu. Then select the Geometry tab. Select Size and pick Force from the drop down and put 800,600 in the box. That works for now. Please fix this annoying bug. Other than that, thanks for a great job on the distro!!! All the best.
