Description Evamaria Fuchs 2007-01-09 10:23:00 UTC
In the last part of the installation - the hardware configuration - a click on the headline 'Graphics Cards" does not function as described in the help text ("Change the values by clicking on the respective headline...") and like a click on the other headlines (Printers etc.) does.
Instead a popup "Click the underlined setting to change" appears.
You can change the settings for the graphics cards directly in the Hardware Configuration dialog and there is no separate dialog for "Graphics Cards Configuration" where you can change all settings like for Printers, Sounds etc.

something like that doesn't exist for the X configuration. YaST calls
sax for a full blown X11 setup. Everything else which is important during
installation is handled via YaST -> libsax but there is no separate yast
dialog for X... we have sax for this task.

I asked the yast people to prevent the headline from being click-able
but this isn't possible so I only had the possibility to show a message
pointing out that everything which can be done here must be done by using
the text-links of the proposal

I'm sorry
