Open YaST2
Select Novell AppArmor
Select AppArmor control panel
Configure Security Event Notification
Select a frequency for one of the categories and type in an e-mail address that contains a minus-sign.
Click OK.

An error box appears saying that the e-mail address is bad.
The address is not recorded in the config.

This error occurs wherever the minus sign appears in the address.
I suspect that other characters will cause the same problem: e.g. the single-quote is permitted on the LHS by RFC822 but YaST2 will not accept it.

David - can you lookinto the validation that we added into the notification forms and ensure that we are compliant with acceptable (by RFC standard) email addresses.

Thanks for the report andrew.
