zmd-backend.log doesn't show this error. However, it does show that you apparently have subscribed to two 10.2 repositories which might be in conflict.

The real error is shown in the zmd-messages file as an ZMD-internal exception:

Exception in remoting call 'Novell.Zenworks.Zmd.Packaging.Public.IPackageManager.ResolveDependencies
Comment 4 Klaus Kämpf 2007-01-11 09:04:48 UTC
Andreas, please make a backup of /var/lib/zmd/zmd.db in case its needed for debugging.
Comment 5 Andreas Jaeger 2007-01-11 09:09:06 UTC
backup has been made - available on request.

I don't think so. A crashing backend helper would not cause a mono exception iirc. This looks more like a database lookup problem internal to ZMD.

... just speculating ... The ZENworks team has to analyze why this exception is raised.

Please attach zmd.db
Comment 9 Forgotten User 04CwEXnAnq 2007-02-01 08:40:38 UTC
Checked on Andreas' machine, it's not happening now.
Andreas, please close this bug if you are not hitting it again.
Comment 10 Andreas Jaeger 2007-02-01 12:07:43 UTC
Backup of zmd is on my machine, I can send it.
/var/lib/zmd/zmd.db.pr233521

Can you reproduce with it?
Comment 11 Forgotten User 04CwEXnAnq 2007-02-22 10:07:24 UTC
Andreas, I've the copy of zmd.db.pr233521 with me.
Mohanty, you can pick it from me if required.

(ZLM) Lets try the use case on SLE10 SP1. Looks an issue with the repo.
Comment 13 Rashmi Ranjan Mohanty 2007-10-19 09:07:56 UTC
AJ,
As part of ZLM 7.2 bug fixing we have fixed many issues pertaining to "Resolvable not found" or "Resolvable ID <x> does not exist." It has not been reported since SLE10 SP1 release. Only one issue was reported post SP1 release and it has been fixed. (https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=275170)

This is a very old bug on OpenSuSE 10.2
Shall we close it now ?

Please, reopen, if happens again.
