Description chris epicier 2007-01-11 19:40:13 UTC
I use ia86 32 bit dvd on a box where i previously installed 10.1 frm c't dvd
successfully. I try to install on soft raid md0, but that fails. I get a " no
os installed" message. When I look at the mbr's on grub does not
seem to be there.
On the 10.1 install I used reiserfs, while I initially used
ext3 on the 10.2. I tried again 10.1 with ext3 to upgrade it later on and it
fails too! Encouraged by this post:
http://www.suseforums.net/lofiversion/index.php/t29139.html I tried reiserfs
with 10.2 and that works. So my guess is: softraid, grub and ext3 do have a problem.

yast logs

This is the logs after the reboot when it is done with the first half of the install. It came up with no os found. Then booted rescue and got the logs...
