Description Marcus Schaefer 2007-01-24 13:34:41 UTC
I tried to change the vga parameter using the yast2 bootloader module
(command line modus). I called:

   yast2 bootloader set section="SUSE LINUX 10.2" option=vga value=318

but the file /boot/grub/menu.lst remains unchanged. Alexander Osthof
has tried to do the same and wasn't successful either. A short thread
on yast2-hacker also pointed out that this seems to be a bug... so I opened
this one

Thanks for taking care

I wonder if this isn't also related to perl-Bootloader. Adding Alexander therefore.

Egbert, JFYI. Since Matthias or me is in Cc of this bugreport or the reported itself, it might be interesting for you as well.

Meanwhile Marcus resolved this issue in SaX2 differently.
