Description Gerald Pfeifer 2007-01-29 00:14:58 UTC
The persona "my significant other" is a happy user of SUSE Linux 10.0,
Mozilla being her primary application. Her technical boy friend set up
the language of both the desktop and Mozilla to German so that she feels
more comfortable.

He also instructed her to regularily install security updates. Now it
happened, some two weeks or so ago, that she performed the latest set
of security updates and out of a sudden Mozilla was replaced by Seamonkey
(not much of an issue) and the language was changed from German to English
(a huge issue).

Getting back the German user interface was non-trivial, and not something
she could do herself; cf. the screenshot I'll attach in a minute.
