I just tried to compile package spandsp-0.0.3-14
with the new GNU compiler version 4.3 snapshot 20070126

The compiler said

bert.c:237: warning: array subscript is above array bounds

The source code is

                if (i > 7)
                {
                    if (s->decade_ptr[i] >= 10)

but

find ../BUILD/spandsp-0.0.3/ -name \*.h -print | xargs fgrep decade_ptr
../BUILD/spandsp-0.0.3/src/spandsp/bert.h:    int decade_ptr[8];

Suggest code rework.
