y2 logs are too big for bugzilla. They are here: http://beta.suse.com/private/pnemec/y2log_bug242549.tar.bz2 Uh, you have wormux* files in the current directory, right? -i option is strange, if the argument is a file then yast treats the file as a list with package names. If the file is a RPM package then it obviously fails... There should be implemented a different option for a file with package names. I am not sure if i understand right.
womux* was completed by shell into one rpm file (wormux-0.7.9-2.1.x86_64.rpm
)
Accoarding to /sbin/yast2 -h:
<snip>
exceptional case for installing packages:
/sbin/yast2 OPTION <package> [<package> [...]]
OPTION:
-i, --install install rpm package
<snip>
So it should not fail AFAIK. Correct me if i am wrong.
Also the help text should be updated... ping, what is status of this bug? Should i close this bug as LATER? The command was:
Launched YaST2 component 'y2base' 'sw_single' '("wormux-0.7.9-2.1.x86_64.rpm.part")' 'ncurses' '--nothreads'

Heh, yast2 sw_single has opened the file wormux-0.7.9-2.1.x86_64.rpm.part because it thought it was a file containing list of packages to be installed.

Please, finish downloading the RPM (not ....rpm.part) and try it again.
Thanks
