Description Paul Mogren 2007-02-10 13:36:20 UTC
At install time of 10.1 and upgrade to 10.2, both times I selected Gnome as the main desktop environment. Seemingly all GUI-based administrative functions use gnomesu, except for one. In the Gnome menu, in the System section, the link "Install Software" for some odd reason uses kdesu. That link should use gnomesu for a seamless user experience.

This is again the over-simplistic xsu() function in /usr/bin/package-manager.

I already tried to convince people to replace that with something better, so far without success.
