there is no X11 proposal during second stage.
I see errors on the console, see attached screen shot

sysp crashed with segfault. Problem was

   hwinfo --framebuffer

prints no information. The sysp code handles a (nil) pointer because
of that and that was the reason for the crash. We never had that case
until now... amazingly
