We have found the printer. It was a typo :) But after adding the printer and restarting Yast, the printer did not show up in the list. In fact, no printers were listed at all. The CUPS config file printers.conf contains the printer and i can print from all applications. I've tried to start with an empty printers.conf and add the printer again. This gives the same result: i can print, but the printer does not show in Yast. Created attachment 120945 [details]

Due to network disturbance the printer was lost again, and the Yast printermodule does not keep the printer.. (is that because i use the cups administration tool now?) Today the printer was found and configured easily with localhost:631 Finding and Specifying the exact location and name did the trick |
