Description David Kozlin 2007-02-20 04:22:40 UTC
Gtk2 was patched recently to provide security for a crash error with evolution and certain printing issues. I recently had to download gtk2-debuginfo to run a test to debug nautilus crashes. Upon downloading gtk2-debuginfo the dependency issue was raised with Yast and I subsequently downgraded to gtk 2.10.6.13 from 2.10.6.24(patched). Now I am getting a security update from ZenUpdater to install the patch. If this is a security issue vs. just a recommended update then can't we patch gtk2-debuginfo?? This would eliminate the dependency issue. Of course, I realized that many users may not even have debug installed.
