How to reproduce:

root@host# echo "ServerName localhost" >/etc/cups/client.conf

root@host# cat /etc/cups/client.conf
ServerName localhost

root@host# yast2 printer
only let it start up and then click [Finish]

root@host# ls -l /etc/cups/client.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Feb 21 10:57 /etc/cups/client.conf

It is a major but becuase YaST destroys a working configuration.

I meant "major bug because" ;-)
Comment 2 James Rome 2007-02-21 14:05:42 UTC
Does making the file read only solve this? This affects the "fix" for bug 213362, so action is needed!
Comment 3 Michal Zugec 2007-02-21 14:37:11 UTC
fixed in yast2-printer-2.14.22
