Description Casual J. Programmer 2007-03-27 04:47:51 UTC
On an FSC Amilo Si1520 running openSuSE alpha2plus kernel 2.6.21-rc4-git5-3-debug the gnome-main-menu ( 0.9.7-2) fails to start.

Happens on log in and every time I try to add it to the panel.

Try to add the menu after you've restarted the machine. That helped on my machine.
Comment 3 Casual J. Programmer 2007-03-27 09:14:55 UTC
"Try to add the menu after you've restarted the machine." Sorry, I should have added: Still there after the umpteenth reboot.
Comment 4 JP Rosevear 2007-04-25 20:44:23 UTC
Still an issue? We have not other reports of this and I haven't seen it since alpha3.

Comment #3 is dated 2007-03-27 03:14:55 MST and concerning Alpha 2, I actually still had it when I did a clean install with the alpha3 DVD last night. On updating to alpha3plus and beyond it seems to have gone.

Im new to Suse and I get this error as well. I dont know how to add it manually yet, but I guess it is still occuring.
