hp  LaserJet 1018[1] is supported trough opensource driver foo2zjs [1]
Those driver are not in our distributtion.

No ZJ-Stream driver can be free software because ZJ-Stream
requires JBIG (for example foo2zjs has JBIG included in source code
and rastertokmXXXXdl requires a JBIG library) but JBIG has patent

Meanwhile I have a ZJStream printer HP LaserJet 1020
and with HPLIP 2.7.10 it works o.k. for me, see
