Is this the same machine as in the other bug? If so, why did you enter another bug (we'll mark it duplicate anyway then). If not, then please indicate whether (like in the other bug) you need a workaround in the native kernel, too, and provide native and Xen boot.msg. Yes, this is the same machine as the other bug. I made a new bug report as the earlier one had been marked fixed and didn't know if it was OK to re-open it or not. As for the standard kernel, I'll have to go do some tests when I get in to work. I have agp=off in my kernel load-line, and also have the offending module blacklisted. I'll take the blacklist out and try some reboots. I'll have that info for you in a couple hours. The boot.msg info will take a little longer. Okay, the standard kernel doesn't seem to be affected by the bug. I removed agpgart from the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist file, verified that grub didn't show 'agp=off' for the standard kernel and rebooted. No problems at all. I'll attach that boot.msg to the other bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 254208 *** |
