SSH listed as allowed in firewall

Description Rafał Miłecki 2007-05-17 17:53:22 UTC
I tried to open SSH port while installing openSUSE 10.3 Alpha4. Every clicking in "open" didn't result. It kept blocked and I couldn't open this port.

Sorry for poor quality, I was not able to make a normal screenshot so I used my Sony Ericson phone.

It seems that it gets enabled, but then it's shown as disabled again.

Could you please verify after installation that the ssh is really disabled? In yast2 firewall -> Allowed Services -> External Zone -> "Allowed service" table , there shouldn't be the SSH service (if it's disabled).
Comment 6 Rafał Miłecki 2007-05-18 15:17:47 UTC
You are right, SSH is listed in "Allowed service", so it was opened. I think bug still need fix because installator should change "SSH port is blocked" to something else like "SSH port is opened".
