Description Daniel Pecka 2007-06-06 12:18:45 UTC
strange behaving of act of creating upload directory..

How to reproduce:

i) start 'yast2 ftp-server'
ii) select the "/authentication/Uploading/Enable Upload/Anonymous Can Upload" checkbox
iii) confirm pop-uped window, asking if you want to create by yast directory /srv/ftp/ftpupload
iiii) close 'yast2 ftp-server'

Expected behavior:
The directrory is created

Observed behaviour:
no directory is created

now, if 'yast2 ftp-server' is started again and "Authentication" page is chosen, we can see again confirmation dialoque (iii), because no upload directory is found by ftp-server module for yast.

while we as root make directory manually, set suggested access rights (via chmod), upload works for us.

I wrote you a lot of text for this bug but... :) I would like ask you about pop-window for asking about creation of directory for upload. Are you sure that you click on "YES" button? Could you try it again please?

First delete "/srv/ftp/upload" directory and then start ftp-server and continue as usually.

If still doesn't work please send me your config file for vsftpd "/etc/vsftpd.conf"
