Most times, when I try to install something with yast he shows me the message "Yast cannot start because anything allready uses the packet-database". but no other install-programm is running or so.

The log contains lines like this:
2007-06-22 09:26:03 <1> tobi-linux(13068) [zypp] ZYppFactory.cc(lockerPid):180 read: Lockfile /var/run/zypp.pid has pid 12950 (our pid: 13068)

Could you reproduce it and check which process is blocking? (look at 'ps -A u' output or in /proc/<PID>/cmdline and target file of link /proc/<PID>/exe)

There might be a "hidden" process running in the background (without any open graphics window)...

I'm very sorry, but I can't reproduce the error. Since I used the Online-Update I had no problems anymore. maybe the Bug was fixed there. 

But thank you for trying to help me.
