Description Alberto Passalacqua 2007-07-01 00:20:09 UTC
The new interface for network configuration offers the option to enable IPV6 (on by default). If you disable it and save, next time you run the network device module, the option is enabled again.

This is actually a critical issue in relevant workloads; bumping severity
to critical. Let me attach three screenshots and the corresponding log
file.

For the record, the converse also fails to work, as seen on an
x86-64 machine: it does not seem possible to _enable_ IPv6 using
this dialog.

No, it's really broken
I have a patch for that - will be submitted today
Comment 8 Michal Zugec 2007-07-20 16:21:52 UTC
fixed in yast2-network-2.15.50
