Description Steffen Winterfeldt 2007-07-02 13:10:57 UTC
Is it possible to turn off screen blanking during installation?

It typically goes black at the timezone dialog and then later again
during package install.

If the screen blanks at the hardware dialog while the X11 proposal is made
it could be sax2 which is responsible for it. If it blanks at the timezone
dialog or during package installation it's out of my scope:

- related to the installation scripts: assign to aschnell@novell.com

The xorg.conf contains the option BlankTime 0. This is also
reported in the Xorg.0.log. But non the less the screen gets
blank after about 20 minutes.
