Description Forgotten User irWrOuKzk1 2007-07-04 21:24:49 UTC
see summary

ant doesn't work without an empty directory /usr/lib/java-1.6.0 and a symlink from /usr/share/java to /usr/share/java-1.6.0

note:
This package was grabbed from factory, not 10.3 like the bug reporting system forced me to use. I am installing this package on SLES-10

nevermind,

this directory is created by jpackage-utils. I just had to grab a new jpackage-utils-1.7.0 from factory. Problem solved

Well ... that was easy ... I wish all bugs were resolved like that ;)

Wait a minute... Maybe this is a bug, because the java package depends on jpackage-utils, shouldn't it be insisting that the version of jpackage-utils is >= 1.7.0?

Reopening bug because of comment #3. I apologize if this is not the correct procedure.
Comment 5 Daniel Bornkessel 2007-07-06 12:56:16 UTC
This is the perfect way to do it -- especially because you are of course right ;)
I fixed the package ... closing bug as 'fixed'.

Thanks Loma
