Description Casual J. Programmer 2007-07-19 14:46:34 UTC
After updating to alpha6 from factory, yast2 sw_single reports no sources available.

On starting yast2 inst_source, an x-message appears, stating

Error loading language plugin /usr/lib/YaST2/plugin/libpy2lang_perl.so: libzypp.so.303.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Checking /usr/lib shows libzypp.so.310.1.8

yast2-perl-bindings is 2.15.1-11
libzypp is 3.11.8-2

The same is true for a clean installation from alpha6 DVD, only the x-message does not show up.

Sources can be added manually via yast2 inst_source, but they can not be activated.
Comment 3 Martin Vidner 2007-07-20 11:21:27 UTC
The perl problem is a separate one, probably caused by a broken upgrade.
yast2-perl-bindings-2.15.1-11 does refer to libzypp.so.310.1.8.

Looking at the repo problem...
