This was a great feature, what happened?

It seems that nautilus-open-terminal is no longer installed by default.
Comment 2 Jason Douglas 2007-08-02 18:34:36 UTC
so then should the bug be that nautilus-open-terminal is no longer installed by default. Is this part of the move to shrink the distro to one disk? Maybe there needs to be an option that say if more than one disk, install certain packages.

This was one of my favorite things. I use the terminal constantly. I know that the focus for new comers is to make it so that they don't have to use the console, so I don't know what would be the right choice here. If its not going to be included by default, maybe a release note about it?

it wasn't my idea, but it's fixed for beta1 already

It's missing again after update from factory to alpha2, although nautilus-open-terminal-0.7-173 is installed.

Please do not reopen random bug reports that even have obviously a different cause
Comment 8 Casual J. Programmer 2008-02-07 08:36:47 UTC
Yes Sir!

Please note: marking a report as resolved doesn't make the bug go away ;-)
Comment 9 Magnus Boman 2008-02-07 09:02:56 UTC
It's a good thing that we already have a new bug report for it then :-) See Bug#358451
