Hello
I've installed KDE cd aplha7 and i have to say, that installation has been very slow.For example in "Installation settings" evaluating package selection had taken a long time and then in "Software slection and system tasks", checking dependencies took a long time also.
And before installation of packages it took a long time too.
Installation of alpha5, 6 and openSUSE 10.2 also, was much faster.

so,i installed dvd alpha7 and installation was very slow also.exactly the same as installation of KDE cd.

so, i've just installed Beta1 from KDE cd and installation went smoothly.
i hope this problem won't repeat again in the next version:-)

According to comment #8, I'm going to close this bug as Fixed. Please reopen this bug report in case the bug appears again.
