I thought about this too, but it's not too easy. Because I don't think your suggestions are really more helpful, in the sense of I know what icon to click. This is also because there is little functional and literal difference to "Software Repositories"(Helptext:Choose the repositories for installation of software packages(CD, network, etc.) Compare to "Community Repositories"(Helptext:Download and choose the community repositories from web.) Maybe it would be an idea to give the helptext-line at the bottom of the window more space, and think of a sentence which really helps me to decide if I need to open this module without trying it out. Peter Buschbacher Those names don't belong to the control center package, but to the package of the respective module, in this case yast2-package maintained by lslezak. just another note - the community repositories module uses inconsistent labelling :( You click "Community Repositories", choose from a bunch of repos and then click "Finish" only to see that the module exits with "Adding Online Repositories". I don't know why "Community Repositories" has been chosen. Lukas? Label "Community Repositories" was wanted by Coolo (with no bugreport). We wanted to emphasis that you can add the community repos there - while adding the main online repos during installation. The inconsistent labeling is a problem I agree, but I would await feedback from usability testing if people look there for packman - and we don't have the time to do it right[tm] And additionally, captions in those dialogs have been already changed :) (I hope these changes are already in Beta2) |
