YOU using yast2-gtk does not find an update source even though one is installed.

The source is download.opensuse.org/update/10.3 and is enabled there.

yast2.tar.bz2 logfiles are attached.

Hmm - odd; I add that source & refresh and get:

"Warning"
"There was an error in repository initialization.
Cache exception"

Also - my list of packages is empty, even though I have some other (apparently working) sources.

Does this work for you with yast2-qt instead (remove yast2-gtk I guess).

It'd be interesting to get some insight from the zypp lot.

I see the same with yast2-qt.

so I suspect it is a deeper lying problem.

Might be a duplicate of Bug 297627. But I don't know how they got the detailed logs there.
