I think default installation of optional updates is undesirable. Therefore the number of optional updates and a note about using the details window is shown. Fixed in svn r6567. Submitted to stable. > I think default installation of optional updates is undesirable.
Then it really shouldn't show the orange icon and a popup every 15min when there are only optional updates available. :-)
Tray icon is green and no notification popups are shown when only optional updates are available. Fixed in svn r6809. *** Bug 304341 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Could someone please add an option to hide the package? After time I will have 120 optional packages that I don't want to install but I will have to see them every time (and scroll). Would be very nice if we could hide the ones we won't install anyway (and a "Show hidden"). >> opensuse-updater-kde: problematic representation when (only) optional updates are available <<
Re-opened this one as an enhancement. I guess it fits the title. Next time will fill my own report ;-)
Why only next time? ;-( |
