Description Felipe Alvarez 2007-08-13 06:00:41 UTC
I run opensuse 10.2, but I update the following packages to get s2ram (suspend to ram) working on my notebook (HP Compaq nx7400):
- suspend
- pm-utils
- kernel-default

My notebook uses ipw3945 drivers to operate wireless networking, so I sometimes also update those:
- ipw3945d
- ipw3945-kmp-default

Recently a slight problem has arisen; ipw3945-kmp-default doesn't exist in factory any more. When I try to update kernel-default (via smart v0.51) it tells me I also need to install a bunch of other nonsense like kernel-debug and wlan-kmp-debug. I am unable to find out where the above mentioned package went, or what replaced it. I don't want to install debug kernel, or that other junk. I tried posting this in several suse forums, but they weren't able to help.
