Hello
I'm trying to choose "standby" via Kickoff menu, but it isn't working for me.There's nothing doing.

Does standby work for when selecting the option in KPowersave menu?
Comment 2 Rastislav Krupansky 2007-08-14 11:38:00 UTC
No, it doesn't.
When i choose standby via kpowersave menu, the session will lock.
For KDEcd and dvd it is the same.
Comment 3 Rastislav Krupansky 2007-08-14 12:00:54 UTC
Hm.And i've just found that icon for standby is missing in kickoff menu from KDE cd(attached kickoff_KDEcd_10
.png),but it is available in kpowersave.

Can you please stop talking about a missing icon? The entry is for sure not shown because an icon is missing. Thanks.

IMO a bigsmp kernel problem and a duplicate.
