opensuseupdater suggests installing perl-File-HomeDir but when I click "Instaluj" and YaST2 opens, it doesn't try to install this patch by default (it is not checked).

Yes, opensuseupdater checks for all patches (including optional), but YaST pre-selects only security and recommended ones. I hope it is fixed for 10.3 already.
