Description Seth R Arnold 2007-08-16 22:40:23 UTC
I tried to upgrade from my up-to-date 10.2 install to 10.3/Factory. I replaced the 10.2 software repository URLs with the factory repo URLs, searched for 'zypp' in the yast search, and selected several of the zypp packages to upgrade. (Sorry I forget exactly which ones.)

I received the following error message when yast was trying to install the new packages:

Subprocess failed. Error: RPM failed: Migrating repo:

- alias : migrated_0
Error adding repository: Software management is already running.

error: %post(libzypp-3.14.0-6.i586) scriptlet failed, exit status 134

I hope 10.2's libzypp can be repaired, to allow upgrading to 10.3's zypp, so that an upgrade to 10.3 is more likely to succeed. :) (I'd rather use the 10.3 zypp than 10.2 zypp to do the upgrade, hehe.)

Thanks!

Looks like a problem in repository migration
