Description Andreas Schwab 2007-08-18 10:41:16 UTC
wpa_supplicant does not seem to ever set the ESSID of the interface, consequently never succeeds to associate. Only after manually setting it with iwconfig the association succeeds and I can log into the network. The network is using WPA and the SSID not advertised.

I can confirm this with iwl3945 device, see bug #297754.
