Description m. bracher 2007-08-18 16:56:27 UTC
I tried to configure the Intel 3945 wlan card (see also Bug 297629). The configuration works fine, afterwards shown as configured with DHCP, then I save it with Finish. But the configuration for wlan was not written. When I restart yast2 lan, the interface is shown as not configured.

No, you're not able to configure wlan because of this:

2007-08-18 16:01:15 <3> linux(4255) [YCP] network/routines.ycp:483 It's probably missing in hwinfo (NOT src/hd/hd.h:sc_net_if)

Also I see there was only eth interface to be configured

How did you configure it? (screenshot if possible)
