package powersave is not installed
pm-utils-0.20.0.20061114-5.2
suspend-0.50-6
dbus-1-1.0.0-7
hal-0.5.8_git20061106-31.3

# uname -r
2.6.18.8-0.5-default

# s2ram -n
Machine is unknown.
This machine can be identified by:
    sys_vendor   = "Ssystem manufacturer"
    sys_product  = "System product name"
    sys_version  = "System version"
    bios_version = "3.00   "

(mobo: asus a7n8x-vm/400)

I have not installed powersave because it touches the HDD with hdparm, and the HDD (320GB Seagate ST3320620A) does not accept it.

I hope this is all you need for now.
Comment 6 Forgotten User ZhJd0F0L3x 2007-08-31 16:46:04 UTC
kernel bug in the ueagle-atm driver.
Cezary, if it helps to unload the driver module before suspend to disk, you can automatically do that by placing it into the "SUSPEND_MODULES" variable in /etc/pm/config, see http://en.opensuse.org/Pm-utils_10.2

Anyway, it is a kernel bug, reassigning.
Comment 7 Jeff Mahoney 2008-01-07 20:45:39 UTC
Did adding it to SUSPEND_MODULES help?

In the mean time, I have upgraded to OpenSUSE 11.0. Now, the module does not prevent hibernation, but after resume the modem light is off and the connection is down.

(I have unplugged the modem, as ifdown/ifup did not work).

PS. Now, there is a directory /etc/pm/config.d, and there is no http://en.opensuse.org/Pm-utils_11.0, so I do not know what to put there. But as the hibernation works, I understand there is no need to.
Comment 10 Greg Kroah-Hartman 2009-09-29 23:26:21 UTC
11.1 should have fixed this, right?
