Description Sebastian Reitenbach 2007-08-23 06:04:48 UTC
The yast on the console crashes when entering the "Software Management" module. It checks the configured installation sources, and then, after it displayed the usual list of rpm packets, it crashes with the following reason:

/sbin/yast: line 274: 29699 Floating point exception$ybindir/y2base menu ncurses $NCTHREADS

these versions are installed:
yast2-2.14.15-3
yast2-packager-2.14.10-3
yast2-update-2.14.7-12
yast2-ncurses-2.14.4-3
ncurses-5.5-42

Ah, this is well-known issue :)

There is probably a shared directory that failed to mount (?), anyway its total size is shown as 0 (see:
2007-08-23 12:02:45 <1> srv3(5900) [ui-ncurses] PackageSelector.cc(showDiskSpace):2646 /import/images t:0 u:0 p:0 )

which leads to division by zero when calculating available % of disk space. But as far as I can see, online update patch for 10.2 for this issue hasn't been released yet
