Description Holger Sickenberg 2007-08-23 13:17:15 UTC
I configured my WLAN card in running system with "yast2 lan".

But after I finished the configuration the device is still marked as unconfigured and if I finish "yast2 lan", there is no configuration in /etc/sysconfig/network for that device

I guess Michal will ask you for y2log. ;)

same here: trying to configure my wlan mini PCI card shows same behaviour: stays unconfigured.

Let me know if you want YaST2 logs from me as well.

Try last yast2-network package:

Comment 6 Hartmut Meyer 2007-08-23 20:05:03 UTC
Thanks, this has fixed it for me.
Comment 7 Holger Sickenberg 2007-08-24 07:36:35 UTC
Unfortunately that did not solve the problem here. The configuration was displayed in YaST but not stored in /etc/sysconfig/network
Comment 8 Michal Zugec 2007-08-24 14:54:52 UTC
fixed in yast2-network-2.15.67
