solver testcase with libzypp-3.22.0-2
zypper.log for command "zypper up"

Description Holger Sickenberg 2007-08-28 10:38:00 UTC
I added http://download.opensuse.org/update/10.3/ as update tree to my beta 2 and started yast2 online update.

But even though there is a newer package of sax2 available I do not get a update for sax2 showed in yast2 online updater.

Thank you.
The establish call of [atom]sax returns unneeded cause it has the wrong architecture (ppc).
Jano, have you already fixed the YUM parser concerning ignoring resolvables with wrong architecture ?
Comment 9 Jan Kupec 2007-08-28 14:48:52 UTC
according to bug 301286, it should be fixed.

Comment 10 Robin Knapp 2007-09-03 18:49:49 UTC
Reopening as bug 301286 did not fix this in my installation.

I understood that this should fix this issue, if I'm wrong, please close this bug again (maybe patch is broken?)

In fact, I haven't been able to apply ANY update since alpha6/7 in different installations (for another example see bug 300569 where the kernel update wasn't offered)

Seems to be a duplicate of #308252
Comment 15 Jan Kupec 2007-09-14 14:52:28 UTC
Robin, the original problem is fixed -> closing this bug.

The problem you're seeing seems to be something different -> new report needed. However lots of fixes have been made since the versions you have used here. So, please retest with the latest libzypp and zypper (e.g. from factory) and if you still encounter the problem open a NEW report for it. Thanx!

I'm pretty sure my problem has been fixed by fixing bug 308252.
I'll open a new report if I have new issues.
With the latest release from factory, libzypp works very well here :)
