y2log shows "Media source http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/ does not contain the desired media" IIRC, this is known and fixed. Duncan ? Michal, did YaST provide a understandable error message ? No, without any message (no error, no warning, no inform) Seems to be triggered by the recent redirector change for Factory. After I removed Factory source and add it again it works as expected. But YaST (from libzypp) definitely should provide some warning to user that there is something wrong with inst_source This case is really very special - repo changing the type. Lado, this is probably YaST problem, that doesn't handle error from libzypp? Look at bug #304200 for detecting repo change. Keeping this bug open to improve YaSTs error reporting, adapting summary. libzypp-3.18.4-3 I select several packages in yast2-packagemanages then it shows progress-bar with description that first package will be downloaded and then it finished. In log file (I will attach it) I can see: 2007-08-29 08:58:37 <3> rock(14130) [zypp] PackageProvider.cc(providePackage):110 Failed to provide Package [ S2:1] [ package ] xorg-x11-driver-input-7.2-94.i586
