Description macias - 2007-09-01 08:34:24 UTC
One of possible typical scenarios:
you come to work, you enter your room, turn on computer, go get some tea/coffee, you get back, you check new mail... error, strange, you check KMail, wait a sec, you check KNM --> not connected.

In such and only such case, when the computer connects _initially_ to already known network please show "permanent" info/warning dialog.

Currently I cannot say if KNM shows anything but those info dialogs closes after some time or does not display anything at all.

We could simply create a new notification like "connection failure". Afterwards you would be able to configure the notification as you feel :)

Does that approach sounds fine to you?

KNetworkManager for KDE3 is not maintained any longer. Therefore I resolve all bugs that are still open as WONTFIX without looking at each single bug report.
If this bug deals already with KDE4 and is still in progress, then please apologize the mistake and feel free to reopen it.
