Description Thibaut Cousin 2007-09-02 21:44:46 UTC
Hello,

I'm using the build service to keep my KDE up-to-date, so I'm now using kdepim version 3.5.7 enterprise 0.20070831.706792. I heard that you switched to this enterprise version for stability reason.

On the other hand, this enterprise version has big i18n issues. I'm using it in French and, for example, KMail has many, many untranslated strings (which were not present, or properly translated, in the "not enterprise" version).

I'm not reporting this as an i18n bug: instead, I'm questioning the choice of the enterprise version. It's nice to ship a more stable version, but you should first make sure that it's ready for it. If it's not localized properly, especially for something like KMail and in a major language like French, then it's not ready at all.

I'm also aware that this is not the "official" version shipped with OpenSUSE 10.2. I only wanted to give some feedback so that things are correctly localized in 10.3. :)

Regards,

Thibaut Cousin
