Description jared thompson 2007-09-07 20:21:41 UTC
on the login screen hitting F10 brings up the restart/shutdown/suspend menu, these logos are different than the one's you get when accessing it from other areas in the computer

the three areas are the login screen and hitting f10

the 'computer' menu

the result of hitting the computer menu shutdown

I have attached the three in a screenshot compilation showing the different/inconsistent icons

The top image seems to be from kdm and is using KDE's icons.

The difference between the second and third may be partly a function of image size, but I'm not sure on that.

It's not the same icon. I'll investigate what happened with system-shutdown in the naming spec draft. We should definitely use the same icon/metaphor for all of these.

The gnome-icon-theme package updated the gnome-shutdown icon to fix http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=330520. libssui needed to be updated to look in the right order for icons. Submitting patch.

This is indeed fixed now. Closing.
