The perl version on the system is 5.8.7 (which was current on SuSE 10.0) This breaks yast2-storage since it contains a perl binding for perl 5.8.8 (which is current on SuSE 10.2) in /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/i586-linux-thread-multi/LibStorage.so Since everything seems to be fine until the update of Midnight of 9.11.07 I would assume this session downgraded perl to the version from SuSE 10.0. This stops yast2-storage from working. Please upgrade your perl packages again to perl from 10.2 and all should be find. Without YaST2 this could be done by manually executing RPM. there is little we can do for you at this point, so I close the bug |
After Online update the function in yast2: Software installieren... does not start anymore. After starting yast in a shell and trying Software install..... >sbin/yast: line 274: 6230 Speicherzugriffsfehler $ybindir/y2base menu ncurses $NCTHREADS< is printed.
