Description Ludwig Nussel 2007-09-13 10:06:41 UTC
the yast2 fingerprint reader module shows an error message and quits when called on a system the does not have a fingerprint reader. The usual behavior of yast modules (e.g. scanner or tv card) in that case however is to start up anyways.
Comment 1 Jiří Suchomel 2007-09-13 10:58:51 UTC
But yast2 fingerprint reader is not able to configure new device, just like scanner or tv module.
Do you have a pluggable USB device? Could you point me to it?
Comment 2 Ludwig Nussel 2007-09-13 11:08:44 UTC
No, I really don't have a fingerprint reader. I was just curious what this module does and clicked on it and found the behavior just somewhat surprising.
Comment 3 Jiří Suchomel 2007-09-18 07:16:00 UTC
I think the behavior is correct.
